4C Conference 2020

We received a great flow of traffic to our stand at the 4C Environmental Conference in Austin this year again. Philip and Dave were delighted at the turn out and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with old and new customers alike, discussing how we can help find and address problem valves and providing live demonstrations of our Valve Condition Monitoring Equipment and Systems.

If you didn’t get the chance to speak to Philip or Dave at the event, or if you would just like to know more about the Equipment & Systems we have and what solutions they could offer you,  head over to the Contact Us section on our webpage now and we will get back in touch.4C 2020 -Grouped

IPEIA Conference and Exhibition 2020

Thanks to everyone that visited our Score Canada booth at IPEIA 2020 in beautiful Banff (Alberta, Canada) this year. We received excellent feedback on our previous Intelligent Valve Management™ services provision from many of our existing customers in the Canadian market.

There was also a lot of excitement generated by our MIDAS Meter®, MIDAS® Sensor and V-MAP® products, for valve condition and performance monitoring. These products are designed to help process owners and operators optimise the reliability of critical valves, through deploying both Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) strategies.

We are continuing to follow up on all leads generated from attending this event and look forward to working closely with all stakeholders in the Canadian market locally, on the further supply of all our products and services moving forward to optimise valve reliability over time.IPEIA 2020 - Grouped

Successful MIDAS Meter® Valve Survey Demonstration in Germany

We recently carried out a MIDAS Meter® Demonstration in a process plant in Germany, which delivered another great result.

A Ball valve was set up in the customer’s research and development flowloop and tested at 8 Barg differential pressure. Unknown to our demonstrator, there was also a flow meter installed in the flowloop, which had been integrated to verify the results reported by the MIDAS Meter®.

It was an expected, but nonetheless satisfying, result for both Score Diagnostics Limited and our potential new customer, when the leak rate reported by the MIDAS Meter was almost identical to that measured by the calibrated flow meter.

We look forward to working closely with this new customer moving forward, on their implementation of our MIDAS Meter® technology within their valve management programme.Picture 1

MIDAS Meter® for Food Processing Industry

Our MIDAS Meter® valve leak detection, quantification and trending tool is best known for the major benefits it delivers to our existing customers in industries such as Oil & Gas Production, Petrochemicals Processing, Nuclear and Fossil Fuels Energy Production, Utility Companies and the Marine industry.

We are however delighted to have completed some successful trials for a potential new customer in the food processing industry – an area where we have not previously been focused.

We do understand of course that leaking isolation valves are just as much (if not more) of a problem in food and drinks manufacturing and processing operations. So, if you are in that market sector and have leaking valves that are causing production disruption, process downtime or losses, please contact us now, to find out more about how we can help you reduce or completely remove your valve performance problems. Picture 1

More Happy Customers on our MIDAS Meter® Certified Training Course in East Malaysia

It’s always great to get out to meet and spend time with our valued customers and who would not want to spend time with people as happy as this team that attended our MIDAS Meter® Training Course in East Malaysia.  It certainly makes our trainers happy when we see all those smiles and certificates at the end of the course!Photo 1

Norwegian Sector North Sea Oil Production Platform’s V-MAP® System Extended

The manufacture and supply of hardware to expand one of our existing Norwegian Sector North Sea Oil Production Platform’s V-MAP® system has been completed with the client’s factory acceptance test (FAT) of the instrumentation cabinet being successfully certified.

On this project, “benchmarking” of the valve and actuator assemblies at the valve manufacturer’s works was also completed, to ensure all valves and actuators were functioning within the customer’s required specifications. This activity has also provided the project with ‘as new’ valve torque and actuator pressure profiles for comparison purposes over the valve assemblies’ life cycles.

Further offshore commissioning activities are scheduled for this project in Q2/Q3 of 2020.

The further expansion of this V-MAP® system again demonstrates our customers’ confidence in our V-MAP® system and the value they are gaining from it when coupled with Score’s extensive valve diagnostics knowledge and support.

V-MAP® Expansion Commissioned on North Sea Oil Production Platform

Score Diagnostics Limited recently successfully commissioned the expansion of one of our North Sea Offshore Platform Installations of V-MAP®, which added new valves from an existing platform and a newly constructed platform.

This brings the total number of valves monitored within this installation to 132. The feedback from our customer on this project has been excellent and they are looking forward to the enhanced Valve Insights™ that our system will provide them moving forward.VMAP Expansion - Grouped

A Rather “Chilled” MIDAS Meter® Certified Training Course

One of our most remote existing customers invited us to train a team of six new survey technicians on our MIDAS Meter® Certified Training Course at their site in Central Asia.

The three day training course included on-site supervised surveying in temperatures down to -12 Degrees Centigrade, but as you can see from the photo, the low temperatures on site did nothing to dampen the delegates’ enthusiasm, as they rated the equipment and the training 100% “Excellent”.Chilled MM Training - Grouped

Current Best Practices in Valve Condition & Performance Monitoring Seminars

Two private “invitation only” seminars on “Current Best Practices in Valve Condition and Performance Monitoring” were held in India, at the premises of our potential new in-country Partners (at Vadodara and in Mumbai).

Over 25 delegates from their existing customer base and a few of the company’s own personnel attended these sessions, giving us an immediate and very positive platform on which we were able to introduce our products and services.

We have reached agreement in principal on our future relationship and there will likely be an update on this in future news stories.Best Practises - Grouped

Flow Control Exchange (FCE) India 2019

We were delighted to be invited to introduce our MIDAS® range of valve condition and performance monitoring products and services in the Indian Marketplace at the Flow Control Exchange (FCE) Conference.

The event, held in the Mumbai Conference Centre, was very well attended and was supported by an adjoining exhibition, where local suppliers showed their latest innovations and products.

The engagement with – and feedback on – our presentations was very encouraging, with several key players in the market expressing strong interest in finding out more about our products and services and specifically the benefits they deliver to valve owners / process operators.

We are continuing to follow up on all opportunities generated at the event and look forward to extending our support for customers in the Indian market.FCE India 2019 - Final
