We received a great flow of traffic to our stand at the 4C Environmental Conference in Austin this year again. Philip and Dave were delighted at the turn out and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with old and new customers alike, discussing how we can help find and address problem valves and providing live demonstrations of our Valve Condition Monitoring Equipment and Systems.
If you didn’t get the chance to speak to Philip or Dave at the event, or if you would just like to know more about the Equipment & Systems we have and what solutions they could offer you, head over to the Contact Us section on our webpage now and we will get back in touch.
We recently carried out a MIDAS Meter® Demonstration in a process plant in Germany, which delivered another great result.
A Ball valve was set up in the customer’s research and development flowloop and tested at 8 Barg differential pressure. Unknown to our demonstrator, there was also a flow meter installed in the flowloop, which had been integrated to verify the results reported by the MIDAS Meter®.
It was an expected, but nonetheless satisfying, result for both Score Diagnostics Limited and our potential new customer, when the leak rate reported by the MIDAS Meter was almost identical to that measured by the calibrated flow meter.
We look forward to working closely with this new customer moving forward, on their implementation of our MIDAS Meter® technology within their valve management programme.
Our MIDAS Meter® valve leak detection, quantification and trending tool is best known for the major benefits it delivers to our existing customers in industries such as Oil & Gas Production, Petrochemicals Processing, Nuclear and Fossil Fuels Energy Production, Utility Companies and the Marine industry.
We are however delighted to have completed some successful trials for a potential new customer in the food processing industry – an area where we have not previously been focused.
We do understand of course that leaking isolation valves are just as much (if not more) of a problem in food and drinks manufacturing and processing operations. So, if you are in that market sector and have leaking valves that are causing production disruption, process downtime or losses, please contact us now, to find out more about how we can help you reduce or completely remove your valve performance problems.
It’s always great to get out to meet and spend time with our valued customers and who would not want to spend time with people as happy as this team that attended our MIDAS Meter® Training Course in East Malaysia. It certainly makes our trainers happy when we see all those smiles and certificates at the end of the course!
One of our most remote existing customers invited us to train a team of six new survey technicians on our MIDAS Meter® Certified Training Course at their site in Central Asia.
The three day training course included on-site supervised surveying in temperatures down to -12 Degrees Centigrade, but as you can see from the photo, the low temperatures on site did nothing to dampen the delegates’ enthusiasm, as they rated the equipment and the training 100% “Excellent”.
Our Partners ETM have been busy applying for (and gaining) formal approvals for our MIDAS® Range of products – including MIDAS Meter® – with several major operating companies in their region.
As part of the technical product approval process, they have reproduced some of our product promotional documents in Spanish language. The development of these new materials should also help us with future promotions in Spanish speaking markets around the globe moving forward.
If you would like to receive a copy of our promotional materials in Spanish, you can request these from our website, using the enquiry form at :-
Following enquiries received for MIDAS Meter® in both the Polish and Indian Markets, we recently completed a series of in-country presentations and demonstrations.
These sessions received excellent feedback and interest levels as a result of the positive survey work completed, which we carried out alongside a couple of potential new partner companies.
We are continuing in our discussions with two locally based companies, with a view to potentially developing future relationships to enhance our local presence / accessibility to our products and services in each of these locations.
Our MIDAS Meter® certified training courses normally require our instructors to travel all over the world to train our customers at their own operating sites. A great deal of preparation and planning goes into all of these trips, but as with anything in life, unforeseen challenges can sometimes emerge and cause last minute changes to schedules. A key quality in our training instructors is therefore the ability to adapt to changes when they do happen and to remain calm and professional when doing so.
An excellent example of this was highlighted by our trainer Stewart on a recent customer training visit in the Middle East. Not only did he overcome the significant travel challenges, he still managed to deliver three highly successful training courses, leaving behind another happy customer and a team of newly energised maintenance engineers that are eager to put their new valve monitoring and leak detection skills to use with their MIDAS Meter®.
“Well done Stewart, we are proud of you – keep up the good work!”
On Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th October, Score Diagnostics paired up with sister company Score A/S to exhibit at the Offshore Technology Days (OTD) Exhibition in Stavanger, Norway. The annual exhibition, which is the largest in Norway, features more than 500 exhibitors and attracts visitors from all over the world. It is where oil and energy professionals meet to do business, share technical knowledge and expertise, and network. Over the course of the two days, visitors to the Score A/S stand were shown a range of innovative technologies, products and services offered by the Score Group Plc group of companies. Particular interest was shown in the MIDAS® range of valve diagnostic products and services. Visitors were shown how these valve condition and performance monitoring products play a key role in Score Group Plc’s Intelligent Valve Management Strategy, and how they can deliver maximised safety and operating efficiency on your process plants.Continue reading →
